Oh, the big arm on the side is so I can draw straight lines.

In this shot I'm using it to hold down my scribble paper.

Well, not scribble, just don't feel like using a notebook at the moment.

I'm leaning lots of new techniques that (I think) will help me get better.

It all depends on how much time I devote to it.

I just pray that I don't lose my sanity somewhere between disheartened and 'I ought to get more schoolwork done.'

P.S. I just thought of this. When I figure out how to draw them correctly, I want my favorite things to draw to be hands and expressions... they're really the same thing, but I want to love drawing them. That's all, go away now.

Well, he's going to use it some, but he says it's mostly for me.

Hope I can find one in a loud enough color.... would be disappointing if I didn't.

Or if I didn't get to pick it at all.

Plus, it needs to be adjustable. I require to be a certain distance from my work at all times.

Well, the main thing about the table is that the angle can be adjusted, which is great. After working from my lap, working on a flat, 90* angle surface skews my proportions.
